Pay More Attention to the Beginning
Conjuring resets, re-starts, and new beginnings with wild abandon. Plus, a bonus mini brain reset for the new year (haha!)
Recently Brad woke up in the middle of the night with this thought: “Pay more attention to the beginning.” In the context of spiritual or creative practice, this means drop the burden of assessing outcomes and instead, focus on starting right.
Didn’t start right? No matter—everything is a circle. Reset and begin again.
Did your mind wander or did the inspiration dissipate? Reset, restart! But this time begin differently. You’re not the same person you were five minutes ago and the infinite horizon is always stretching out wide before you, generously welcoming your next inspired launch.
Welcome to the circular laboratory of creative transformation! Here we conduct experiments with radical constructivism, the magical art of re-creating reality one new beginning at a time.
We previously announced that this Guild season we would be coming full circle and beginning something new called “Electrical Grand Rounds.” Indeed, we’ve spent the last three months creatively revisiting the basic elements of ecstatic spirituality: spontaneous movement, spiritual electricity, breath, sacred emotion, and alignment with sound.
It has been a refreshing reset that taught us more than we ever expected.
There is so much to share that we thought of making our year-end newsletter an update on this new direction for Sacred Ecstatics. But then we read the New Year’s essay from 2022 and found it perfectly articulated what is presently on our hearts and minds.
(Current Guild members will find many resonances with this season’s teachings!)
We do intend to share more of our electrical learnings with you when the time is right. But for now, join us for a glorious glide back to the center, the beginning source of all movement, expression, and transformation.
Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you for all the warm likes, shares, re-stacks, and comments throughout the year!
With prayers for peace on earth, the end of hatred, and healing for all,
Hillary & Brad
P.S. Here’s that promised mini brain reset you can do any time of day :)

Sending arrows of BIG LOVE to thee. May WE re-boot, re-start and receive an arrow into the one heart. With deep gratitude for your Presence in my life movie.
Thank you, gracias, danke, hvala, spasiba, for all you do. All is well but, hunger, when will I eat?
