Transmitting the Vital Life Force

The sound of Ikuko Osumi Sensei giving seiki transmission, with musical accompaniment from Brad

Greetings Everyone!

Many of you are aware that Ikuko Osumi Sensei is one of the primary saints and lineage mothers of Sacred Ecstatics. She was an extraordinary healer and the foremost practitioner of seiki jutsu (the art of the vital life force) in Japan. Brad wrote her life story as part of his Profiles of Healing book series, and decades ago, Osumi Sensei passed her seiki jutsu lineage to Brad.

Ikuko Osumi Sensei

Osumi Sensei has had a profound impact on our lives and on the lives of many Guild members. Her wisdom and life force continue to blow like a mighty wind through everything we do.

As a pianist, Brad often felt that the only ingredient missing in seiki jutsu was music. He sat down one day and created this recording—a musical accompaniment to the sound of Osumi Sensei giving seiki transmission to someone in her home. The melody is the old gospel song, “Throw Out the Lifeline.” (The banging you hear is Sensei hitting the screen behind her to stir up the seiki!)

Enjoy this medicine! It carries a double dose of seiki—one from Osumi Sensei and one from Brad Sensei. Grab hold of this lifeline and let it reel you in!

Taken from Brad’s book, Ikuko Osumi, Sensei: Master of Seiki Jutsu

Thank you, Mother Osumi!

Thank you, Brad!

With a big seiki shout,
Hillary

P.S. look for Part 2 in my essay series coming soon…
